Dog friendly walks in and around Morfa Nefyn

There’s never a bad time to walk your dog to or from a pub.

Walking your dog in Llyn Peninsula

There are plenty of dog walking options around the llyn Peninsula.  Porth Dinllaen & Porth Nefyn both have areas for dogs and alongside the Wales Coast Path all are less than a kilometre from our front door.  To complete the ensemble there’s a stunning National Trust walk around the Dinllaen Peninsula offering sea views in every direction. This 2 hour, dog friendly ramble is just a 5 minute drive from our front door.

Seasonal dog walking tips

Whenever you are planning to walk, there are a few tips you should follow to make sure every adventure is a happy one. On shorter, darker days; Invest in some high viz for you and your dog and carry a dedicated torch.

When the days eventually get brighter and warmer, replace the high viz and torch with sunscreen and water (for you and the dog). Then, whenever you go remember that having a charged phone is a modern day essential, as is keeping your pooch on a lead, especially in open countryside.
